Twenty twenty four done! It's crazy, where has the time gone??
It has been a marvellous year, incredible travels to South America (I promise to one day finally finish my blog, it's ridiculous, I know!) and wonderful times around the East. In regard to shooting this year I have been a little picky. With the surf and weather forecasting apps being as good as they are, I seem to only want to shoot when there's a high chance of fluffy pink clouds or when the surf will be pumping. It means there's less shots, but better shots in my opinion. Quality over quantity.
So what does 2025 bring for Heatwaves? A good question. I've really enjoyed shooting abstract artistic shots beach scenes and want to continue exploring texture and pattern. I'm always on the hunt to find unique angles and views which most people would walk past without noticing. Epic sunrises and bombing surf are a given. Let's hope I can catch you on your wave of your life!!
