Q. I think you photographed me this morning, can I see it / use it on my Instagram?
A. Send us an email with what you were wearing, unique surfboard and/or any other distinguishable features & we’ll endeavour to get that shot to you. We ask that you credit the photograph with
@heatwaves.australia on your IG / FB page. If you love the shot that much we can also organise you a print, frame or acrylic.
Q. Do you sell your photos? How can I get one?
A. Sure do. Click on ‘Print Catalog’ or any of its sub menus; find a photograph that you love then select the size option you would like. Pay by clicking on the cart (top right of page) and follow the directions. Once payment has been verified we’ll get on with printing your custom artwork.
Q. What are my options for purchasing?
A. We have a range of photographic options to choose from. From an all occasion photo card through to framed and acrylic face mounted prints. Our print sizes range from small to very large to suit any wall in your house. For a full description of these products please click the ‘Print Options’ link in the top menu. If you have any further questions relating to any product please email us for clarification.
Q. Can you ship internationally?
A. Yes, once you have a print in mind email us for a quote. We’ll discuss the best printing and shipping options for your international purchase.
Q I love the colour photograph but would prefer it in black & white, can I see it?
A. Yes of course, just send us an email with the title of the image (or when it was uploaded) and that you would be interested in a black and white version. We will reply to your email shortly with this request.
Q. I have a unique request for your photography, can you help? (Different size, display in business etc.)
A. Tell us what your request is by sending an email to adam@heatwaves.com.au and we’ll see if we can accomodate.
Q. How long will the artworks take to be delivered?
A. It depends on the size of the print; style of product & where it needs to be delivered. Some of our products can be printed / framed very quickly whilst others take a few weeks. We’ll endeavour to get all prints done as soon as possible. If you have purchased a print or are after a one by a specific date please contact us for time frame.
Q. What if I change my mind on a photograph & would like a different one?
A. As all Heatwaves photographs are custom prints we cannot offer any change of mind exchanges. Please select carefully!
Q. Why do you get up so early?
A. The light around Sydney is just magnificent during the early hours of a morning; reds, pinks, golds, pale blues etc. As a photographer this so called ‘magic hour’ makes for ideal shooting conditions as the light is less harsh than during the throughout the day, which therefore makes the photographs more pleasing to the eye.
Q. Do you process your images?
A. Yes, you need to or else the photographs will look terrible; just like in the days of film, digital photographs require some touch ups. I do try limiting the amount of photoshop work in my images and get as much done in camera as I can. What I try to do is make the image look as how I saw it occur.
