Unexpected Hues

Morning,

I expected to wake up and see rain falling form the sky, I hadn't even bothered setting an alarm!! Thankfully Ana's went off bright and early... I reluctantly got out of bed and had a quick look. OMG. It looks as it was going to colour up again! So in no time at all I raced to the car and flew down to the beach. It was looking pretty good! But where were all the parking spaces?? That extra 20mins of sleep cost me, no spots around. I eventually found one around Mark's Park, so I decided to shoot some seascapes. Funny how where you park dictates the type of shooting you'll do. 

Down on the rocks I went and beautiful orange erupted. Not quite yesterdays colour (that will take some beating for sunrise of the year) but still a superb and unexpected way to start the day.

By the end of the day some parts of Sydney may have drowned in 70+mm of rain, battered with hail and been blown away by the wind. It's going to be one feral day ahead!
