Blinding

Morning all,

We're in waiting mode, hoping that TC Winston's swell will finally reach Sydney's coastline. So far not a whole lot of action and with this southerly breeze the sea conditions aren't spectacular. It's sunny out there now at least!

Hawaii just had their turn of having a monster swell, so big and so consistent that they were able to run the Quiksilver In memory of Eddie Aikau event. For this contest to occur it MUST be consistently 20ft plus and because of this it hasn't run for the past 7 years!! Watching the worlds best big wave surfers dropping out of mid air and free falling for seconds before they hit the water was nuts. Props to all who had the bravery, courage and stupidity to charge down these moving mountains. #eddiewouldgo
