Heart Warming

Two days in Newcastle just wasn't enough.. so we stayed a little longer!

I went out shooting each morning; discovering everything that the Newcastle coastline had to offer. There are some seriously cool beaches, pools and jagged rock shelves to photograph. But it seemed I wasn't the only one. Newcastle has in my opinion the highest concentration of photographers per capita, anywhere in Australia (inc. Bondi) There were hundreds out each morning capturing the sunrises from different vantage points. Whenever this occurs I do my very best to try capture something else, something unique, I hate the idea of standing next to someone capturing the exact same photo! 

Our stay in the Hunter region had its challenges. Deep cuts and bruises, visits to emergency (all good now), car problems and an episode of 'Nobby Rescue' being filmed where our group were the lifeguards rescuing a couple of tourists from an almighty rip (**not really filmed!**). Though 'stuff happens' we had a fantastic time and cannot wait to head back up the freeway.
