In this crazy world we live in these are the bombs that I like.. Big, watery, bone crushers~ It's absolutely mental on the ocean front today.. 8-10 ft monsters slamming with all their fury onto reefs and cliff faces. I'm in awe of the power mother nature has at her disposal.

I got some incredible shots this morning, but I feel that I missed one epic one. I was chatting on the phone when a super solid wave came racing in, it smashed into the sidewall just past the pool. The resulting splash went firing into the sky, I'd say 8 metres up, drenching those few people trying to get THAT perfect Instagram shot.. well they got it!! lol. There were other splashes, and there were more people who got wet throughout the morning but this wave in particular was a step up. BOOM!! CRASH!! SOAK!!

No surfers in the bay, way to dangerous... but just around the bend there's a group of riders on their big boy toys. It's one of those special days where only the most experienced and crazy go out. For the rest of us, lets just enjoy the view.
