Blown Blue & White
~
Summer days are meant to be hot, dry and sunny. Today just doesn't feel like that & I'm not a fan. I lazily woke up (1hr later than normal) and headed for the water; to check conditions and take a few snaps. What greeted me was not ideal shooting conditions - junkie waves, onshore winds and a cloudy sky. What was I going to take?
A towel of all things caught my attention. As it flapped in the breeze it made these cool sculpture like shapes, each gust changing and creating something new. I pointed the camera at it and was very happy with how it turned out. Along the beach I scouted out a few more; different colours and methods of hanging. Made for an interesting subject.
Sometimes the simplest things give us the greatest pleasure.
Have a great day, Adam.
