On ya head - OUCH!!

Holy smokes it's wild out there!! Big today, but BIGGER yesterday arvo.. These top few pics were taken watching the madmen weave their way into closeout barrels. NUTS!

Surfing is a fantastic spectator sport when it's big.. the energy from the ocean fills everyone with a sense of awe and excitement. The pumping sound and tremors of waves pounding the rocks is electrifying. Every wave feels as if it's going to rush over and wipe you out (even though you're well back). Then as the surfers drops into a big one everyone gasps... then cheers! Such a buzz & we're not even in the water.
