Turimetta on Sydney's Northern Beaches is a really interesting beach. Not only does it have a nice protected beach break it also has these cool rock formations jutting out into the water. I've shot here a few times over the years and this is by far my favourite image. I like the simplicity of it; it shows the beauty of these intricate rocks being smashed by the Pacific Ocean but doesn't distract with an overpowering sunrise. Sometimes (only sometimes) a scene is just perfect the way it is.
